INDOEUROPEAN LANGUAGE GROUP

   Most of the languages of early Europe, including other early languages of Italy, formed part of this wide language group, but the Etruscan lanugage stood out as distinct, giving rise to many questions about the origins of the Etruscans, both as a people and as a language.
